Vidyalanakar Polytechnic's Hackathon is a initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving.

Objectives

• To create functioning software or hardware by the end of the event.
• It include the programming language used, the operating system, an application, an API, or the subject and the demographic group of the programmers.
• To provide students an understanding of the expectations of industry.
• To provide an opportunity to students to develop inter-disciplinary skills.

• Each team would comprise of 6 members including the team leader.
• It is compulsory to have at least a girl member in a Team.
• Repetition of member in 2 different teams is not allowed.
• Each team has to select one faculty as their team mentor who will be with team through out the competition.
• Once team have registered, changes in team members or mentor will not be encouraged.

• Registration of Teams and Solution Submission will start - 19^th Feb 2024 (10 am)
• Registration of Teams and Solution Submission will end at - 21^th Feb 2024 (5 pm) 22^th Feb 2024 (8 am)
• Publishing of Team Selection list - 22^th Feb 2024 (11 am)
• Final event will be conducted on - 23^rd and 24^th Feb 2024, 9 am to 5 pm
